Hayfa Matar
Hayfa Matar is an Advisor to the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Bahrain. She also held the position of Counselor to the President of the 61st Session of the United Nations General Assembly in New York. Previously, she worked at the Embassy of Bahrain in London as researcher to the Ambassador, and has also worked as an investment banking analyst in the Industrials Group for J.P. Morgan in New York.Hayfa holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Physics and Economics from the University of Virginia and a Master’s Degree in Political Economy from the London School of Economics.
