Johanna Magoria
I am a Swedish illustrator and graphic designer, educated in Sweden, Holland and Denmark. I often try to raise questions about environmental and social subjects in my work and I find an attraction to the transience of the past.
There’s something with those by-gone stories that awakes my curiosity. My book Nära Frånvaro (the present of the absent) has been nominated this year to Ung Svensk Form (the young Swedish design awards) with an ongoing exhibition that is currently touring the world. I am currently working on sponsorship to get my book Cabinet of Extinction published so that it can reach readers with its important message.
