Sarah Harrison Grigg
With a passion for understanding relationships between people and the natural world, Sarah Harrison Grigg has traveled from the Greater Yellowstone Ecosystem to the Namibian bush to refine her knowledge of natural resources issues. Whether collecting field data on rare carnivores, such as grizzly bears and wolverines, or coordinating progressive public education programs on conservation, her work equally draws upon biology and social marketing. Most recently, she managed a wildlife preserve and sustainable cattle ranch for The Nature Conservancy and in the past has held positions with Idaho Fish and Game, the U.S. Forest Service, and the Jackson Hole Wildlife Film Festival. She received B.A.’s in Art History and Spanish from Washington and Lee University and a master’s degree in Natural Resources from the University of Georgia.
