Dr. Marcelo de Andrade
In 1985, the Brazilian native, founded Pronatura one of the first environmental conservation corporations in South America. Pro-Natura has since brought its work to Africa, Asia, Australia, North America, and to the Republic of Vanuatu. Dr. De Andrade later cofounded Terra Capital and most recently Earth Capital – both Private investment firms committed to fiscally supporting green conscious companies and entrepreneurs. He currently serves on the Advisory Board to the corporations of BHP Billiton, Du Pont, and Shell. Dr. de Andrade is a recipient of the Cynthia Mitchell International Prize for Sustainable Development. He is also a Member of CONCEC, Counterpart International, Earth Restoration Corps, and the explorer’s clubs of both England and New York.
