Roop Gill
Roop is a Canadian journalist, currently doing a postgraduate degree in Journalism, Media and Globalization. A proud Torontonian at heart, she has lived in India, Ethiopia, Denmark, and Australia, and has travelled to another 25 countries in attempts to check off things on that big bucket list of hers. Roop also tries to make her travels as meaningful as possible: she volunteered to build a house in Guatemala, practiced Spanish while living with a local family in Costa Rica, and worked towards her postgraduate degree in Denmark and Australia. She is currently splitting her time between university, freelancing for magazines and editing Postcards from Utila, a documentary exploring solutions to the exacerbation of environmental problems due to unstained tourism development in Utlia, Honduras.
Roop is a travel blogger, social media addict and a hopeless documentarian, determined to share the stories that inspire her. You can contact her at RoopGill.com
